What is your favorite trend?!
With so many trends to choose from, we narrowed down our choices by selecting a recent article published by The Spruce. The article lists the following trends for Fall 2025: Rich Color Palettes (Plum, burgundy, moody!), Hand Painted Finishes, Vintage Inspired Patterns, Dramatic Marble Finishes, Silvery Metallic Accents, and See Ya Later White Interiors!
Alicia chose hand-painted finishes. Hand-painting furniture is something she has been doing for a long time, and is excited that it's becoming mainstream. If you're not feeling crafty, you can find hand-painted items at flea and junk markets.
Hayley is thrilled that white interiors are on their way out. Hayley believes everyone likes color, but many end up picking white because it feels safe to them. With a bit of guidance and encouragement, anyone can have a beautiful home with colors they love.
What would be your color choice for a stucco house? Light or dark?
Thanks for the great question. We would go light with a stucco house. Light color would allow a shadow to form on the beautiful trowel patterns, showcasing the handiwork of the mason.
If there are many areas where the stucco has been patched, or if you are trying to hide imperfections, we would recommend going a bit darker in that situation. Choose a flat paint, and that will help hide those blemishes.
Painting stucco has unique requirements, and getting in touch with a painting professional is recommended.
